Arsenal have won nine of their first ten games of the season for the third time in the club’s history.
The Gunners have been absolutely magnificent so far this season, with Mikel Arteta’s side losing just once so far, in a 3-1 loss to Manchester United.
That aside, Arsenal really seem to have stepped it up a notch, and are currently top of the Premier League table, even ahead of this Erling Haaland-inspired Manchester City.
Arsenal fans will be delighted to see this progress being made by Arteta’s side, who have already had a better start to the season than the 2003/04 Invincibles did, as shown in the tweet below by Opta…
9/10 – Arsenal have won as many as nine of their first 10 games in a season in all competitions for the third time in club history, also in 1903-04 and 2007-08 (both nine wins). Optimism. pic.twitter.com/znxQOiLPQA

The only other times Arsenal have done so well early in the campaign was in 1903/04 and 2007/08, when they also won nine games at this point.
Of course, it won’t mean anything unless they can keep it going and collect trophies or qualify for the Champions League, but the signs are certainly very promising for this ever-improving team.
