Arsenal will not remove Folarin Balogun from his season-long loan at the Stade de Reims to replace the injured Gabriel Jesus.
The Brazilian striker suffered a serious knee injury at the World Cup and had to undergo surgery to repair the damage last week. The 25-year-old could be out of action for up to three months, Sky Sports claims, which is a huge blow for Mikel Arteta and Arsenal.
The former Man City star has been very impressive since joining Arsenal this summer and played a vital role for the club at the top of the Premier League.
Therefore, the Gunners need a replacement in the short term and it will not be Folarin Balogun.
