Juventus will pay 25 million euros for the transfer of Manuel Locatelli in January, according to a report by Tuttomercatoweb.
The midfielder joined the Bianconeri from Sassuolo last season on an initial loan with purchase obligation.
He has been a key fixture in the Bianconeri squad ever since and Juve are more than happy to make his transfer permanent.
The report says that the entire deal will cost them €37.5 million and the first part is expected to be paid for in January.
Juve FC says
Locatelli has been a key player for us since he moved to Turin and he can certainly improve.
We don’t regret making this deal and the midfielder deserves to make his move permanent.
Hopefully he will continue to improve and reach even better form when we pay to make his transfer permanent.
If that happens, we can be sure that we have a top-tier midfielder on our hands who can stick with us for up to a decade.
Locatelli is starting to show why we value him so much and we believe he will live up to the potential he showed in Sassuolo.
Your progress will also undoubtedly make us successful as a team.
